Do you ever have that problem where you set out to write a story, but on the one hand you want it to be super 100% realistic also kind of dark and angsty and on the other hand you want it to be SUPER ROMCOM WITH BONUS EXTRA HILARIOUS SITCOM TROPES.

I think the rubric for tagging characters in AO3 should be: if they have enough of a significant role that someone could look back at the story afterwards and go 'that's my favorite character in the whole fic!' then tag them. otherwise no.

I was looking through some old 750 Words entries, and I came across quite a lot of stuff that was going to be history of the rose until that turned into an entirely different fic. I started thinking about things that need to exist, and somehow I am now on the verge of writing a novel. (Well, okay, not a novel, but possibly a bunch of short stories that look somewhat like a novel if viewed from far away.)

I am at the point in (not gonna write you a) love song (that Ginny and Parvati and Pansy and Hermione and Tracey fic) where I would usually put together a playlist or something to procrastinate. However! The St. Trinian's soundtracks are so completely perfect for this fic that I honestly don't think I could come up with anything.
