I'm back in Boston.  It was so good to see my brother.  He got a few ribbons (I'm not sure if that's what they're called but whatever).  I guess they all get one for joining in a time of war, one for finishing their boot camp training and my brother got another one for expert marksmen and one for PT (physical training).  The weather was lovely.  ( Read more... )

My brother left for boot camp yesterday. It hasn't sunk in yet. I keep thinking he's going to call me or that he'll be at my mothers house when I go visit. I hope he's doing ok. He was really nervous before he left. He said he only got two hours of sleep the night before. I don't blame him, I'm nervous and I'm not even going. I know he'll be fine ( Read more... )
