I'm back in Boston. It was so good to see my brother. He got a few ribbons (I'm not sure if that's what they're called but whatever). I guess they all get one for joining in a time of war, one for finishing their boot camp training and my brother got another one for expert marksmen and one for PT (physical training). The weather was lovely. High 70s the whole time. The River Walk in San Antonio is pretty neat. I was not expecting the Alamo to be smack dab in the center of town.
I have pictures and will give a full update later. I'm still feeling a little sick. I caught a stomach bug and was throwing up all day yesterday including on the plane. Let me tell you, being sick while traveling is the WORST! I can at least hold down fluids now and the chills seemed to have gone.
