The weather has been great lately, giving us some nice chances to be outside and enjoy the city.

Some highlights:

The local Dairy Queen has fucking BUTTERSCOTCH dip for cones.  I haven't been able to get it in Michigan or Ohio since 2001.  Hell yes.

I bitched a lot about Cleveland drivers because they are fucking retarded.  I mean crazy retarded.  Like, left hand turns out of the far right lane on a 5-lane road stupid.  25 miles an hour on the freeway in the fast lane stupid.  Oh, and NOBODY uses turn signals.

Chicago drivers do not drive like that.

The last two weeks of touring have been a real blast.  I've had a ton of fun with everybody involved and it's been really great, which is a particular relief because I was feeling pretty down beforehand and kind of dreading life in general.

I'm currently in Madison, Wisconsin, though I spent the rest of the week in full-out cow country.  It was definitely rural: Monday we performed for an entire school disctrict (k-12) all in one school smaller than my elementary.  There were less than 100 kids in the audience- we probably saw ten times as many cows.

Well, it's been a while!  Things have been pretty nuts- When I haven't been on tour with OFY, I've been working at my new church job/Gymboree, auditioning like crazy, trying to decorate the house, or entertaining friends from Ohio.  When it rains, it pours, I guess.
