He further said that her anti-trans views "haven't affected the casting or hiring of writers or productions staff".

What is he trying to imply with this? That everyone complaining is nothing to us and just a whiny bitch?

Also, at this point HBO needs to cast infants to be ready by the time season 1 is actually in production at the pace HBO is releasing tv shows. Final book by 2045?

No, he was asked if anyone had refused to work on the show because of her, and that was his response. It's very confusing when taken out of context. I don't know why they wrote it like that.

I think it's a response to various rumours that have been swirling. There's been a bunch of chatter that they're approaching various stars and getting turned away because the association's considered too toxic to touch.
