I like hot priest. Can they do that thing where they recast somebody as somebody else. And make him a love and interest for Eddy. lol.

I have to laugh at people saying that Oliver is biphobic because he wants his character to date more/have sex. I get that season one buck used sex in an unhealthy way. But sex is not inherently bad. You can have a lot of sex and it be good and not a sign something is wrong with you.

Also have to laugh at the people that say that the writers room is homophobic because they broke up. Lol. Tommy got the same treatment as multiple loving interest in this show. I personally am just upset that buck can never break up with someone. Can he be the one to initiate it next time?

That glee little speech was so heavy-handed.

Lol the fact that the only people saying Oliver is biphobic are Tommy fans says to me that they don’t actually care about this (it’s also stupid, how is it biphobic to want him to be single and explore his sexuality), they were just waiting to turn on him because he “never supported the ship like he should have.” Let Buck fuck!🔥

They wanted Oliver to mourn with them, I think. Maybe the "let Buck fuck" could have waited a week but they fooled themselves, there were definitely some previous interviews w/Oliver that strongly suggested this was not his endgame

Yeah, exactly, they're just angry that Oliver never thought of this ship as endgame, which it wasn’t and was never meant to be! He just didn’t lead them on so of course they latched onto Lou who was acting like this character was more than he was meant to be (which is a stepping stone for buddie). Personally I laughed at let Buck fuck! Like, Oliver has always made it clear that he cares that Buck is bisexual, and that he doesn’t care about Tommy. I love that for him lol

Lou gets on my fucking nerves because he's a goddamn grifter and they refuse to see that.

Exactly. He latched onto this group and realized he could make money off them and encouraged them to be loud so that he could maybe stay on the show longer. His character was never meant to last long. The fact that his fans are crying that he was the only one to recognize “the importance of the relationship” and criticizing Oliver makes me so mad. He only recognized “the importance” because he’s making a fortune on cameo.

Exactly this! The people losing their minds about the BT breakup on socials rn literally only gave af because Lou was pandering to them on Cameo. That's it. All of this "Buck and Tommy had soooo much chemistry, Tommy was the only person in Buck's life who treated him well, the show's ratings are going to tank now that Tommy is gone!1!!" shit is so unserious to me. Last I saw they'd left like 38k protest comments on 911's Insta on a single post.

Like, were y'all even paying attention between frantically sending Lou commissions to navel gaze more on Cameo? 'Cause let me introduce you to my friend called *the writers dropping 7 million context clues this one wasn't gonna last.* Bffr.

lmao RIGHT??? this grifter led them on and put them in a frenzy over a GUEST STAR SPOT and that's Oliver's fault? he never led them on and so they're mad at him but like...the fact that he never hyped up the relationship should tell you something. he actually has boundaries and that's why they're turning on him.

EXACTLY lol how much more obvious could it have been that this relationship isn't going to last? people saying "what were the writers thinking?" umm...they were following the very obvious plot they set out. I can't believe people actually thought this was his endgame relationship when he was in like 5 scenes (besides his past season's greatest hits where he was a racist sexist asshole to his coworkers!). but they don't actually watch the show outside of Lou. how this z-list nepo baby got this cult following is insane to me.

Right. They don't watch the show outside of him, and they didn't watch it at all before the Buck/Tommy kiss started making its viral rounds on socials last year. I mean, it's cool new fans found something that was meaningful to them, but peak theatrics they're all giving about quitting the show because they were misled by the writing is all down to the fact that they literally know nothing about the show outside of shit Lou said in a video. C'mon now, you hurt your own feelings on this one, gang.

how this z-list nepo baby got this cult following is insane to me.

He really realized the power of being a conventionally attractive white man pecking another conventionally attractive white man on the lips on broadcast TV and seized the moment lmao.

exactly. It's wild. I actually started watching the show then too lmao but I actually WATCHED it and hated Tommy from the Begins episodes, so when I got to them dating I was thoroughly unimpressed. they have no chemistry, Lou can't act, and he didn't even try to make it look like he liked Buck.

exactly!!! you weren't misled by the writing, it was always clear. Tim Minear even called it an "entry-level relationship" after they kissed. you were misled by your own delusions and Lou's pathetic pandering on Cameo.

He really realized the power of being a conventionally attractive white man pecking another conventionally attractive white man on the lips on broadcast TV and seized the moment lmao. lmao yup! he saw that he had a captive audience and started charging what he could. now he's getting his little cult to follow him to SWAT. you know what, good riddance, I hope they all stop watching the show lol

What's so obvious is that these were never BuckTommy fans, they were Tommy fans and they seem to have inflated his importance (also due to Lou baiting them too) and now they're having a complete meltdown.

It's hilarious but also really sad. They truly got taken for a ride and cannot deal with it.

exactly lol. Calling for Oliver to be taken off the show, saying he's jealous of Lou (lmao), saying he only wanted to be bi to pad his resume...ALL WELL LOU WAS CHARGING 200 to be super unprofessional and give headcanons for a character he didn't write. Lou is the reason they thought Tommy would last, not the show. the show could not have been screaming any louder that Tommy was temporary. Tim Minear literally said Tommy was an "entry-level relationship."

I feel like I'm going crazy when I see their posts and justifications. The 911 IG page is filled with long essays about the impact that Tommy apparently had. They're truly unhinged and think that their little petitions and letters to ABC are going to change anything. It's so bizarre - this man is literally a glorified guest star in everything he's ever been in.

that fraud "insider" on tumblr who is pretending she has a cousin on set is also encouraging her followers to write these long essays. I feel like I'm going insane. these people talking about how heartbroken they are for the loss of queer representation for a relationship that lasted 5 seconds. newsflash, Buck is STILL BI!!! hope that helps!! and the ones crying about how he's gonna date a woman next. that would still make him bisexual. and then they have the nerve to call him biphobic.

I used to think it was funny but now I'm genuinely concerned about their well-being. I can't believe that they are so down bad for LFJR that they're acting like this. It's like a mass delusion.

Asking for Oliver to be written off, for Ryan (a US citizen) to be deported, acting like Tommy was responsible for Buck's bisexuality... they're really showing their true colours. I saw someone say that they'll "retcon" Buck's sexuality and I'm like "HE'S STILL BISEXUAL" They don't know what it means clearly!!!!

yami_no_hoshi November 11 2024, 18:48:17 UTC
yeah some of them have genuinely lost it. wanting to nominate LFJR for a GLAAD award...when Oliver said he literally had to give him a pep talk the night before they kissed...such an ally.

yeah this is genuinely mask off for a lot of them. I saw that retcon one too, and the nerve of these same people to call Oliver biphobic when they're out here saying that if Buck is with a woman, that means he's not bisexual anymore. fuck off. plus their lord and saviour kept calling Buck gay in one of his interviews last week and never said the word bisexuality once! but Oliver is the biphobic one. sure.
