• ABCs 911 is seven episodes deep into its eighth season, and it continues to be goofy and amazing. All hail network television.

• The show pulled in ten million viewers (after seven days and across all platforms) during its three-part season premiere, and ABC is moving forward on a new spin-off (rumored to be set in Hawaii).

• The most recent episode - titled "Confessions" - saw some major movement for some of our beloved characters! Spoilers below:

• It's been a quiet season so far for Maddie and Chimney, most of their story involved Hen and Karen and their foster daughter, Mara. Now the two are thinking about extending their own family, with Chimney expressing concern after what happened when Maddie had their daughter Jee-Yun a few seasons ago. The show's sweetest couple continues to be a bright spot.

• Buck finds out his boyfriend of six months, Tommy, is the very same Tommy who ran out on Abby Clark (Connie Britton's character from season one), Buck's first love. He naturally spirals, gets a Ryan Murphy themed pep talk from Josh and Maddie, and well.

• Buck and Tommy are bones. In a post-episode interview, Buck's actor Oliver Stark said he hoped that this meant Buck would be able to explore his sexuality more and that he wanted the writers to "Let Buck Fuck." Of course, fans of the Buck and Tommy ship used that soundbite to call those comments biphobic and he issued a quick response to clarify what was already pretty obvious!

• Ah, our beloved Eddie Diaz. Eddie turns to Bobby's hot priest that vaguely resembles Joe Alwyn from season one of the show. It's genuinely sad, with Eddie admitting that he doesn't feel like he deserves forgiveness from his estranged son, and that he doesn't know who he is. Later on, Eddie runs into hot priest outside confession and have a nicer chat. Hot priest encourages Eddie to open his heart up to joy.

• The 'stache is gone (RIP) and Eddie has a Meredith Grey-esque dance it out moment. The episode ends with, what else? Buck coming home turning up at his door and Eddie joining Buck on the couch. Which could mean nothing!

guys i think it might actually happen this time?
