Not surprised. Ariana is pretty messy and can be rude.

Lilly Jay (Ethan Slater's ex) and Naya Rivera both mentioning how shameless she is when it comes to affairs to her licking vendors's doughnuts to this.

I like her music but I'm never surprised when people come out with stories about her being a brat or rude.

she grew up rich and became even more rich as an adult so she’s never known what it’s like to not be spoiled, but even this, asking for free tickets yet refusing to take a photo with the person who gave the free tickets, is shockingly rude to me. PR training needed!

People always make the point that she grew up rich/spoiled, but it's stories like this are still a bit surprising to me because she was a Nick kid and they do make them go through media training. Like did NONE of it stick? All those kids were taught what to say, how to laugh, given canned answers, etc. and yet she's still messy?

Maybe Disney was a bit more strict or kept them on a shorter leash, but none of them were really ever called rude (execpt Demi who later admitted to being a menace).

Trained as nick kid doesn't give you the essential skill of working in service industry. I don't think anyone who has ever worked for tips would act like that

I remember Jeanette McCurdey doing a skit featuring a girl that's clearly based off Ariana and she def portrayed as self-absorbed and spoiled.

like when i sit and think about this it's just beyond comprehension. how do you get to your 30s and not understand if someone does a favor for you you should do them a favor back? you have to have extreme levels of wealth and privilege to not understand what 99% of other adults know.

that said, i am cracking up a little at people rooting for her downfall... if she survived the doughnut scandal, and she survived having an affair with a married man, and people are still making excuses for her as you can see clearly on other websites, we are stuck with her lol! the arianators might be less numerous than before but they still pop up every time to tell you she's just been through so much and it's misogynistic to criticize her. and she's got a huge movie coming out next month as well so she's gonna stay parked in the headlines. time to accept that she somehow survives every single scandal and just enjoy the gossip. i almost have to admire how she's like teflon.

I feel like the Manchester tragedy really gave some longtime sympathy-passes or something cause prior to that she really was getting criticized a lot but that tragedy happened and people backed off. But I think a lot of it has to do with

I’m totally guilty of it too, Break Up with Your Girlfriend I’m Bored is just too much of a bop despite the horrible message. And I’ll be honest as terrible of a person she is I genuinely enjoy her voice, it might not be as good as the legends but for a pop girl of her generation she is better than the others and at least in terms of lyrics she doesn’t take herself too seriously. There’s only so many confessional songs from singer-songwriters you can take before you just want to hear Ariana sing about stealing someone else’s man instead

Truthfully I don't think I've come across too many arianators (I will her, Rihanna and Selena got the worst fanbase names) or find them annoying compared to Swifties and Barbz who are straight up deranged lol (although I saw some footage of the Barbz at her miami show and their aesthetic is nice I'll give them that). So I agree that they're pretty chill and bearable. Fandoms reflects their idol most of them time I feel.
