I am not at all surprised that Amy's version would've made Barbie the butt of the joke. I can already imagine the crass jokes that most likely aged terribly.

Box office analysts predict a possible 100M for opening weekend, they are hoping that if the movie becomes a hit, it will lead to more films from the Mattel line. Such as Hot Wheels, Barney, Magic 8 ball, UNO etc..etc

it's kind of wild to think about how they're willing to make movies off of these board games rather than original stories/ideas
