They don’t check any of their sponsors.. they’re still hawking betterhelp. It’s so gross because they do not need the money, they can be picky about which they choose! (I don’t listen but my roommate does.)

Mishandled sensitive info, sketchy/unlicensed therapists, sold emails of users to social media sites to target ads at, google can explain better in detail than I can lol
I’ve been wary because so many mental health professionals have been speaking out from the beginning but I can also understand if it’s your only option bc mental health services can be difficult to obtain.

I enjoy kratom regularly, but it's a tricky plant.

I am glad it’s incredibly disgusting or else I’d be having it far too often

Sounds like bitter swamp water is not your thing.

Have you found a way to make it more palatable? At this point I feel like even swamp water is somewhat more bearable.

I would like to get my hands on kratom but it’s probably better for me if I don’t

Oh yeah, I've been following the furor on the IASIP sub... there's a lot of growing disenchantment with the podcast of the late and the direction in which it's been turning (too much of this hawking of snake oil supplements and other "miracle" products, more than is usual for even a celeb-run podcast). I'm glad I just watch the show and don't follow the podcast.

Yeah, I never listened to the Podcast but my husband did and he stopped early on because the trio (McElhenney and Howerton especially, apparently) would get so off-tangent and just talk about their own lives, gigs, etc. He called it quits when McElhenney wouldn't stop ranting about how he nearly fought a guy in an In-N-Out drive thru?

And there seems to be a lot of ire towards Howerton's "vegetables are bad for you" rhetoric he keeps pushing.

I was sick a few weeks ago and literally only the BRAT diet allowed me to keep food inside of me. After a week of bland carbs, I literally cried watching my partner eat a nice bowl of salad. He felt so bad, poor guy. Lol. Anyway, all of this to say I agree! Fruits and veggies are LIFE (and I’m hardly a super health conscious person).
