I was part of the OG My Chemical Romance fandom (I guess? I was older than a lot of their fans when they started to get big, so I was never a psycho teen fan, lol) and this was a recurring thing with their fans. Whenever the band would take a break / stop touring, people lost their minds and I saw the "they owe us, what do they need a 'break' for, they're being lazy!" thing...a lot. Super weird.

I am also an OG My Chem fan but jesus fuck I guess I got lucky with the spaces I spent my time in because I never saw that D: We were usually concerned or excited. They toured like workhorses for years, they deserved every break they took (which really weren't many :/)

It doesn't surprise me though, those were probably the same people that were surprised when the breakup announcement happened. If you knew the band well enough up until that point it really didn't come as a shock :(

Yeah, that was part of what bothered me - they didn't take breaks often at all, so when they did, for there to be any amount of people complaining about it was just weird and annoying.

Lol, when they did their Danger Days tour I was like "whelp, this will probably be the last one," so I bought tickets as soon as they went on sale. They didn't hide the fact that they were tired and the end was coming, they just didn't explicitly state it, but still...wasn't a surprise.

"Lack of respect" jfc. She owes them nothing. Why are these fans so entitled?! It's not even like it's a cult hit like Supernatural where the devoted fans legit kept it on the air (not that that fandom had the right to be as nuts as it was either), it's on a big cable network. Get over yourselves.

Yeah, if anything the fandom around Outlander kind of buried its popularity, rather than the other way around.

I swear some fandoms just ruin a show (this show sucked after S1 anyway). These guys are on another planet.

What gets me is that she filmed while preggars...and I can see why she didn't want to go to a premiere where a bunch of unvaxxed idiots might be when she has a newborn at home.

People are entitled fucks and need to STFD

More proof that the Outlander fandom is the absolute worst (and that includes KPop craziness). Who criticizes a woman who is a new mom for not showing up for a premiere?

This! I know they’re are many female sports fans, but male fans take the cake when it comes to being batshit crazy stans. My bf shows me examples every day from the world of football (European)

the first half of season 1 was perfect then it went downhill from there, you're not missing too much honestly
