Asim! I wish he'd been on a better series of Taskmaster; I liked him, but I didn't love that set of personalities together. I know he only had like, two lines, but I was so excited when I saw him in WW84.

I don't date, lol (yay avoidant personality disorder) so while I try to be sympathetic for the people who are like, "damn this pandemic, I haven't gotten laid in a year!" I'm like, can't relate, it's been way longer.

Worst date would probably be the guy who just straight-up didn't talk to me, but hey, a few years later he was convicted of murder so I probably won out there.

I asked him out (this was a big deal for me, obviously, lol, given my anxiety), and we made plans for that evening, so I was really excited. He came to pick me up, didn't say where we were going or what we were doing. So then we drove back to the part of town where he lived, that had a reservoir for swimming. I did not know we were going swimming, I did not bring a swimsuit. When we got there, his roommates and their girlfriends were there. Obviously becoming clear to me that this wasn't a real date, it was just a group thing. He didn't care that I had nothing to swim in, and nobody else did either. They all got in the water, hanging out, swimming around. I heard one of his friends ask who I was and why I was there, and he just kind of shrugged. So then afterward, when they were all done swimming and having fun and making me look like an idiot just sitting on the sand (and this was awhile ago, before I had a smartphone so how much fun do you think I had), we went back to their apartment, and all the girls just sat around talking, and ( ... )

That ending wow. I whispered "fuuuuck" as I read the last part. To me, your bad date ended up being the best case scenario for you. That's super weird that he agreed to the date and then turned it into an awkward group hangout yet didn't talk to you all night.

Oh, I agree. Very very happy to have dodged all of that; him getting into drugs started not long after (to my knowledge), and I wouldn't have wanted to be involved. And of course, the idea of being with someone who would be that violent is awful.

But also, I've always thought like, even besides the drugs and the violence, what a jerk! To say yes to a date and then have it turn into all that, what an ass. I've never once thought "oh if only, he's the one that got away." Nope, not at all.
