Putting and Cookies
Yesterday I got to hang out with Nicole and Yumi. We decided to go out to the local "family fun center". They have like batting cages, lazer tags, mini golf, etc. Well, we decided to play the other 18 hole course this time.
It is a fun mini golf course. Full of inclines, hills, water hazards, etc. There are these cool holes where you can hit it on purpose into a man-made creek, and the water takes the ball down a path right on the green. Very brilliant and creative planning to the creators of this green carpety goodness. I loved playing mini golf growing up too. It is just awesome, simple fun.
Last time we played the other 18 course, Yumi won. This time, Nicole did much better and won. She channelled her inner Tiger, or Tigeress if you will. Sadly, that means I lost, BOTH TIMES. It is a bit disappointing since I am a competitive person but it was fun so I did not care too much.
We also did the batting cages. Mixed success there for us all. We all had some good hits at times. I pulled a muscle in my hip area on my first swing. I guess that is I get for being out of shape (although I have been fat since like the 4th grade) and not stretching.
We went back to my apartment to relax a bit. I made the girls some snickerdoodle cookies. I cannot believe that they never had a snickerdoodle before last night. Craziness! At least I am good for something: a place for free food.
Lastly, I tried messing around with my voice to experiment and find a more feminine tone. Disastrous to say the least.
