This is why no one should leave these two alone together

((OOC: This little misadventure is mod-approved.  I also have permission from Seychelles-mun to speak for her character in the original post.  SO LET'S GET THIS STUPIDITY ROLLING, SHALL WE.))

HEY CITIZENS OF PARTRIDGE DRIVE, SURE HOPE YOU LIKED HAVING RUNNING WATER!

[But how did this happen?  Let's rewind things to the beginning of this little misadventure - around 5:30 PM on Wednesday.  The Mayor of Townsville and Seychelles are standing in their backyard with shovels, picks, gardening trowels, and all other manner of implements of moving large amounts of dirt here and there.  The two of them are trying to dig a hole for a pond, and generally making a mess of things.  Even still, they seem to be making a bit of progress, and are busily engaged in making their hole deeper.  Suddenly, as Seychelles is digging, her shovel hits something hard, and there is a loud metallic CLUNK.]

"...Did you hear that?  I think I hit something!"

"Hear what?  I didn't hear anything!"

*CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK*  "That!  Did you hear it this time?"

"Oh my, it sounds like you've hit some hard bedrock there, dear!"

"What should I do?"

"Hit it harder!"

"Okay!"  *CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK -- SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH*

[As Seychelles slams her shovel into the ground, the water main she's been pounding away at finally bursts, sending water rocketing into the air like an erupting geyser, soaking the yard and probably parts of the neighbors' yards in the process - to say nothing of the Mayor and Seychelles themselves, who were standing at ground zero.]

((OOC: By the time anyone is able to come and see the source of the disturbance, the Mayor and Seychelles are already droned for screwing up the street's water supply.  Per the mods, Partridge Drive's water will be out for the rest of the day, and will be magically fixed in 24 hours.  As for the two amateur landscapers, they're out of commission for the next 3 hours as happy little Mayfield drones.))

droned for gross stupidity, neighbors gonna be so mad, poor fishies, landscaping, mayor, property damage, seychelles, oh god so dumb, just wanted a pond
