Oh my goddddddd Sergio Ramos has been undressed and possibly halfway flogged at least five times so far this game. Old Onion-balls has been criticizing Puyol and Marchena for their positioning, but they wouldn't have nearly as many problems if Ramos didn't keep losing his man ( Read more... )

Haha, yeah, I've missed the first few days of EUROFAIL so it's weird watching matches again.

I'm so up for the GAA at the moment that football of the soccer version seems kinda slow n boring atm. Travesty!

Too many spectators at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on Sunday, so they let the crowd sit around the edge of the pitch. Oh for that at teh soccer. Lol.

Spain be winning, then?

I wish I could watch the GAA! They have a short history of how the GAA gained popularity as a nationalist alternative to football in The Ball is Round. I can type it up for you if you want??

Yep, 4-1. Villa and the soul patch of magic had a hat trick. :)

-is back from pub, wtf-

I think it might be on Setanta sports in the US, but I'm not entirely sure...if you're prone to downloading stuff, mininova has GAA stuff on (usually the Sunday Game, equivalent to Match Of The Day or so, and the odd cap of a live game too).

If you've time to spare and fancy doing it, I'd love to read, but if not I've no problem looking the book up. I've not actually read anything much to do with the nationalist history of the GAA, rather it seeped in from family and friends and surroundings. It'd be awesome to have an overview! Who's the book by?

Sounds like a fookin' good game! I may have to 'acquire' that -coughs- ;)
