(no subject)
I've finally stopped procrastinating and registered for 
vidukon_cardiff in June!
Am quite excited - other than the one I organised, which doesn't count cos of all the stress, I haven't been to a small, fan-run con in forever and they're my favourite kind - but also quite scared. Probably about 50% excitement, 50% fear. I'm hoping the balance will tip in favour of excitement as it gets closer. :p But still, yay! New people! All the vids!
Other than that, am not feeling very fannish about anything at the moment which makes me sad. Work's kind of mental right now though and I'm a bit swamped outside work with bag commissions, hopefully things should quiet down a bit from April and I can get back to some vidding at least.
I do have some Feels about the current series of Call the Midwife, but they are complex and conflicted and once I start typing I'll probably never stop...
And I am loving Jonathan Creek being back! But also a little bit sad about it as well - unlike most of the internet it seems I'm really enjoying this series, but only if I think about it as an entirely different show or spin-off, because when I remember the original couple of series there's just no comparison.
I do adore Sarah Alexander though, and am loving matureandmarried!Jonathan - one of the best marriages on TV at the moment imo.
