Also, do we have any solids on the ages of the crew members (aside from River)? I read a pretty decent fic in which Jayne seemed to be a decade younger than Mal. With het, particularly in a touchy pairing such as this, I raise my standards in regards to context. But damn, do I ever lower them when it comes to the actual writing.
