Another recommendation. A foreign film about a writer who, when writing a supernatural story, discovers her creations come to life.
After some reflection, I've come to the conclusion that this isn't a bad movie, it's simply not for me. I felt many of the scenes were drawn out or unnecessary, but it was decent enough of a story. Fans of fantastical stuff, especially Guillermo del Toro-esque type horror will enjoy this film.
Although, I'll post a bit of a spoiler for some of you... what is it with Asian obsession with aborted fetuses? If it's not that white-faced ghost (which I understand is a cultural thing), it's always something to do with aborted fetuses. There's some really disturbing images in this piece, and I'd caution if that sort of thing bothers you.
However, if you're a fan of Asian horror or Guillermo del Toro, I'd suggest giving this a shot.
