I believe in a better way...that we all have influence.

Merry Christmas! Thirteen minutes left of this joyous day.

Why keep a live journal when I barely ever write in it? I still read my friends pages pretty often. Although, most of the friends are out of touch. It's intriguing to read the conundrums of others and how they sort their lives out. Being human we all have similar issues to deal with; others clarity can bring you clarity sometimes too.

I miss Ryan so very much. I am hoping and wishing harder than I ever have for this job to work out so he can come to Mobile. We celebrated our year anniversary the day after Thanksgiving! I spent my short Thanksgiving break with him in Dothan and he came to see me for a day and a night on December 8th before I came home to Richmond for Christmas break. We usually get to see eachother every 2-3 weeks. I'm so ready for him to move to Mobile, it's getting really hard being apart so much. There are questions in my head that can only be answered if our lives are more together. We spent every day together over the summer and it was wonderful. But summer is my chill time, even though I did work. School is a whole different mode. I want to see how it is for us to be together regularly and dealing with our responsibilities. We've been through a lot together, but there are always more things to experience, and being apart seems like a big boulder in the way. The job in Mobile is doing electric work for a new sub-division with his uncle and it would mean a lot more money. Also, he's planning on going back to college. I'm ready to see the things he wants work out for him; lord knows he deserves it. He will find out by January 1st and we're both extremely anxious.

The house in Richmond is nice (I still like the one in Alabama better). Actually, we live in a suburb of Richmond called Midlothian. Our house is smaller since property is more expensive here. I just loved our yard in Alabama, the porch, and the pool; the vast forest in back always sounding so alive (in my head i thought of it as a jungle or rainforest). The neighbors all seem pleasant; on Christmas Eve the neighborhood association put out these lumenettes that lined the streets, they were very pretty. I went to Washington D.C. last weekend and had a blast! I visited my friend Alison who goes to George Washington University (I haven't seen her since camp two summers ago). I took the train there and the first night we went out to dinner at a Thai place with a few of her friends and had a small party at her dorm. Unfortunately I got the worst hangover of my life and was throwing up a lot the next day. The weird thing about it was that I've been way drunker plenty of times. My mistake was mixing clear liquor and dark liquor that evening. Anyway, I got to see the city: the white-house, Washington Monument, Capitol Building, three of the museums of the Smithsonian, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial Wall, World War II monument/fountain, and went shopping in Georgetown. Also, during Christmas they have the national tree lit up which is huge and smaller trees for all the states decorated. Tomorrow my family is going into Richmond for the day for lunch and to walk around the riverwalk.

It was a very nice Christmas. I'm glad I'm getting the chance to spend time with my sister and parents. I got a digital camera which I love! Also, my mom worked at a jewelry store for the holiday season so my sister and I got to pick something out. We went to Mass in the morning and had a yummy dinner in our new home. I made my mom and sister jewelry for their gifts. I'm thinking about maybe trying to sell some of the jewelry I'm making in the near future. Beads are crazy expensive though, at least on my budget. We're going to upstate new york in two days to visit my mom's family and I'm excited. Let's hope there's snow, I wanna make a snow man.

When I get back to campus next semester I need to get a job. I paid my car insurance through february, but after that I have to start paying it again. I want to waitress at either the Chat-A-Way Cafe or at the Mobile Country Club.

My summer plans are pending. Depending on whether Ryan moves to Mobile or not I will either be doing an internship in Richmond, England, or Mobile. I am definitely doing one though because it is much easier to get a job out of college if you have one, in fact now-a-days everyone expects it, at least for public relations anyway.

See ya later livejournal! Its been nice writing in you for once in a blue moon.
