This year was truly a great year. What happened in 2004:
Went on a cruise with the family to Bahamas and Key West. Met Canadian friends.
Made some great new friends in my HS English class: Hannah, Mary, Rachel, and Jennifer C.
Heather, Alicia, John, and all the smoke in my back yard. Trip to Los Latinos, dance with hott spanish men.
Finally got the guy I always wanted but was too afraid to admit it. First love.
Track season.
Deciding on Spring Hill.
Alabama Catholic Youth Conference; 600 people, great speakers, Grande Marriot Resort & Spa, lots of time to reflect, surrounded by wonderful people.
Prom: Puttin' on the Ritz; Lead out, everyone looking gorgeous, Jeffrey being a perfect date, dinner at Alexander's, Prom breakfast, the day after.
Mrs. P's end of the year speech.
GRADUATION
My grad. party, everyone else's graduation parties.
CANCUN with Anna and Natalie as well as 28 others from the senior class. Coco Bongo, falling off the bar, tequila, psycho bus rides, killer ocean, watching the sunrise.
CAMP FULLER. Oh how I love thee Camp Fuller by the sea. Reunited with old friends. So happy Chelsea came back! Met new friends; too many to name. Parties. Skinny dipping. Got to spend a day off with Alysha.
The month before college with Jeffrey. Cooking dinner in my kitchen. Putt-putt and bowling. All our time just the two of us, feeling like the world stopped.
Watching friends leave for college.
Me leaving for college. All the tears, all the goodbyes. The Spring Hill College Experience.
The cycle of the 3 roommates.
Finally ending up with Samantha Castanet as my roommate, whom I love and adore.
Destination Unknown parties.
Meeting sooo many new people. I love my floor- Walsh 1 West. West side foreva.
The boys that could've been -- Will, Scott.
Downtown Mobile.
First gay club experience; Troopers, drag-queens are hilarious entertainment, slightly creepy.
Bayfest-- Edwin McCain, Beach Boys, Bama Boys(haha what a joke!), Charlie Daniels Band.
Hurricane Ivan. So afraid that my school would be destroyed. Trip to North Carolina with Sam. Met her family, great people.
Trip to Smoky Mountains with family. So scary trying to find the mountain house where we were staying at 1 in the morning, thought we were going to die. Beautiful sights. 5 mile hike.
Panama City with Melissa. Playing pool.
Family weekend; believing I had been deceived by new friends. Everything getting resolved.
My birthday! The cake, the decorations, the presents, phone calls from friends, and the party. I'm still thankful.
Flag Football. Sarah almost breaking her wrist and screaming:"The ref. is f****ing the girl in the orange shorts."
Finishing my first semester of college. All A's and one B; 16 hours. Hooray!
12/18/04 Party at my house. I love you guys!
Tribute to people in my life:
Dothan people:
Ryan- Your life is one big roller-coaster and you take me along for the ride. As difficult as things are sometimes I am always here for you. Best of all, I know you always are there for me too.
Heather- No matter what you always make things fun. You have so much personality. We have many memories and you are a great friend. Also, your faith is inspiring.
Melissa- Where would I be without you this year? I tell you everything. To you I am an open book. You understand me so well. We are alike in so many ways but we have our very distinct opinions and differences as well. You keep me sane! Thank you for your friendship!
Leigh- You going all the way to New Jersey has been torture for me. I'd probably be running cross-country and forcing you to do it too if we went to the same college. I have no crazy trips to Wal Mart(trips yes, but not exciting ones like the ones we go on), no one to feed me ice cream while I drive, and no one that is YOU. Something about you: People say you're quiet and I know your not, and I love the faces you make when you think no one is looking, or you just do them by reaction.
Mary- I've always viewed you as such an intelligent, beautiful, and interesting person. You are also lots of fun and you make me laugh, I love your company. I wish we hung out more during HS.
Emily- You and I have been friends pretty much since I moved to AL. But I think this past year is when we became especially close. A word that I would use to describe you is quirky. I will always remember our rides in the car together on the way to school.
Hannah- I know everyone tells you this because it is so true, you are one of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever met. You have a gorgeous smile that brightens everything. I am so glad that we became friends.
Rachel- You are a very unique person and I admire you for it. I loved visiting you in Orlando this summer. I still would love to come visit you at Flagler.
Jennifer- My country accented friend. You have such a great sense of humor. You are a go with the flow kinda person and I love hanging out with you.
Anna P.- You are a beautiful girl and you are always honest. I've had so many great times with you. I really do plan on coming up to Auburn sometime. Always remember Cancun and Orlando.
Natalie- Sometimes I can take things you say the wrong way and we can clash but you know I love you. I love how you do your own thing, you are confident in yourself and it shows.
Jeffrey- First loves are never forgotten.
Camp Fuller People:
Alison- This was the first summer we met. I was so glad that we clicked and became friends. Days out at swimming talking on the docks. Our night off in Newport. Our day off at Hillary's in Cape Cod.
Ellen- All our talks about guys. Swim, giving hard-core lessons. You are such a sweet person and I'm so glad you'll be staff this summer so we can hang out more.
Fred- The coolest CIT director ever. You have such a charasmatic personality and your smile is contagious. Great night off at Jess Blynn's this summer.
Nadia- So happy you were my camper. You are a beautiful girl. You act very mature for your age. You better come back this summer as a CIT.
All the Camp people that don't read this who I love: Chelsea, Sarah A., Kindos, Kim, My co. Gemma, McKinley, Joe, Amy, and Dibble.
SHC People:
Sam- Best room-mate ever. I'm so happy you moved in. I am so used to living with you now. I love our Sunday night talks and our hot cocoa times. I especially love our daytime naps. Best of all I trust you very much.<3
Rachael- I love your honesty, you are always up-front about things. I love rides in the car with you & Sam, jamming out. You make me laugh. You care about school, so do I, and I think it's important. You are a strong person, you put up with a lot.
Ashley S.- Such a sweet person you are. I'll remember the night I brought my mattress in your room to have a sleep-over with you and Kelsey. Bayfest. You always listen and give good advice.
Hillary- Met you through English and Ash and Kels. I think you are very intelligent. That night at Trooper's was a fun night. Vegas night, shopping for hott outfits. You are fun. We think very much alike. Love the nose ring.
Jessica- I hope you still read my journal. The first weekend of school when we went to the beach, great time. When you took your pain killers and were acting crazy, haha. I loved the present you and Sarah got me for my birthday. I appreciate all the talks we've had.
For those of you who don't read my journal but are also important: JC, Katie, Colleen, Jackie, Sarah, and Kelsey.
I love you all!
