Been away for a about 5 days now and I'm currently in a little place in Brazil called Parati. Been out on a boat cruise around the coast today so I'm fairly tired now. Had a great few days in Rio seeing the sights. Sugarloaf mountain, Christ the Reedemer and we even checked out one of the favelas (slums). Been great so far!

I have made this video in memory of my amazing friend David, who was taken from us on April 16, 2010 aged just 24 years old. It highlights some of the great times we shared overseas back in 2007. Its mostly photo's of us and Dav mucking around with a couple of video clips thrown in too. This was painful to make, but I hope that people can see all ( Read more... )

I have just had an amazing couple of last days. It all started on Thursday morning when I flew out to Sydney to go stay with my friend Kelly up there. Had nothing really to do, so I took a couple of buses to Bondi Beach for a couple of hours to walk around and watch the surfers (and the life guards)then headed into the city down around circular ( Read more... )

I feel like I have been neglecting my LJ, I must remember to try to update more often. Good news is that my school teaching prac is officially over and I thought it went rather well all things considering. Loved my year 8 and 9 SOSE classes.
