Another update...
Been really busy again. Have managed to get up to date with all my photos. The ones from Opeth and Extol are now online at both Metal Monk and my own site.
Went and photographed DragonForce the other night at Liverpool Academy. It was absolutely boiling in there and I can honestly say I don't think I've ever been so hot at a gig... ever. It was getting to the point of being pretty unbearable. Hadn't heard much of DragonForce... in fact I think I'd only heard one song prior to seeing them on Tuesday. Must say I really enjoyed the show and they were rather entertaining. Got some nice photos but have had to convert to black and white due to the lovely red lighting / tinge that I've grown so accustomed to when shooting a gig in Liverpool :/ They will appear on my site and Metal Monk in the next few days.
Off to London to see Nightwish tomorrow... setting off at 6.30 from Liverpool so it seems I will need to be up at around 4.30 / 5.00. What a nice long day that's going to be!! :) I am hoping to grab some sleep on the bus... might be the longest sleep I've had in a while if I manage to do that. Back home on Monday night and off work til Wednesday... very nice :) Will hopefully get to catch up with everyone whilst in London as well... should be a good.
Got some more time off booked so that's keeping me somewhat happier at work. I've got at least a few days each month til January and have a few more days that need to go on the board. Just need to find something to do with the time off :)
