People overlook your personality because it takes time to uncover a person's way of interaction with other and how they care, feel, love, etc. The way you look is just your appearance. Your past is a memory. People just find interest in the things you do

I think trusting other people takes a lot out of a person and a lot OF the person, to turn to others in times of need or trouble and just ask for help. We all think friends are people who are going to be there when you call them at 3 in the morning when you just can't take it anymore...there for you when your boyfriend breaks up with you...or there when you've just had a terrible day

well i wouldn't put the past away as quickly as you might =P the past..although a memory plays a big part in your decisions and can become very influential in your future. i don't know i take the past as seriously as i take the future =P not to say i dwell

True.. I guess most of the time when someone says something you don't have enough trust in them to listen and make a decision according to them. Afterall, the person you hold the most trust in is yourself. *sigh*
