Update Post
College has decidedly taken over my life since it began. And right after I've been saying I was going to do better about posting, too. But at least I'm not alone. sekahyyh and
mika_starlight seem to be in my same position.
I'm not gonna bore y'all with the school bull. That'd just be wrong. But my friends and I did go to a hookah bar for the first time last weekend. That was a nice experience. And my friends who smoke say that's just a buzzed feeling compared to being high. Makes me want to make the comparison myself.
We got a mango flavored one. bnrita was funny, though. She didn't want to try it at first, but once she did and got to feeling it she didn't want to pass the tube around! We were all feeling real chill by the time we left that place. Walking was good and awkward for the first two minutes after being in there for about 3 hours.
And, of course, I had to look up the affects after getting back. Found out it's as bad as smoking 100 cigarettes. But I'd still do it again.
After we left the hookah bar a friend of mine came out to me and two of my other friends. She realized she was bisexual this year, but was afraid to tell us. She actually believed we would see her differently! And the thing is, we already figured that she was either gay or bi. But she had stopped hanging with us for awhile, perhaps with that being part of the reason.
I think she feels better since she's told us and we - obviously! - didn't judge her for it.
That's about all for now. If I get back online soon enough, the next post may be a political one. About Obama's healthcare reform and all that, but right now I don't feel like it. So later til whenever!
