This afternoon, my friends in class were full of squee for Studio 60, a sentiment I haven't really seen repeated here on LJ.

Once again I marvelled at how there are normal viewers, and then there is Us. Sometimes I just need to be reminded.

In the past year I learned that I am not welcome, never fit in, and will always be a loser. I don't even want to bother trying making friends anymore. It just doesn't work.

My mommy sent me flowers for my birthday. She is nice. Thank you mommy.

Summer is over now, and I am back at school. I have a lot of reading to do, which I have not done. I was trying to get a head start on everything and come back all motivated and eager, but it didn't happen. At least I do not feel dreadfully out of the loop.

In other news, meal hall is amazing. But this is a shock to everyone, not just me.

Perhaps the best complaint I have ever heard:

I can't study in your room. It reminds me of computer architectures!

I'm pretty sure I've come down with something, considering that I woke up at four o'clock this morning feeling weird and haven't been able to go back to sleep. Still, my day was considerably brightened when I found I'd received two postcards-- one from the J-Ster and one form lea724. You both rock!
