State of the Nye

I've been having rather a high degree of social anxiety lately. I also am having to prioritise dealing with both filling in my DLA form (a stressful, upsetting and tricky thing) and battling the infestation with *laundrylaundrylaundryshowershowershowershaveshaveshave*. I have indicated to several people that I'd like to socialise with them, and keep thinking that because I have only got a very very part-time job I have a lot of time with which to socialise. I don't right now!

Today: Walked to therapy. Got tube home, put second load of laundry on. When the second load of laundry is finished, I'll have to go to the laundrette to hot dry everything (decontamination). This evening I need to do a big shop.
Tomorrow: Going to the CAB to ask for help completing my DLA form. Major stress. Evening: literature secretary at self-help meeting.
Saturday: More laundry, and possible trek across London to exchange bedding that is being frozen for me by a friend with other bedding that needs freezing.
Next week: a mixture of therapy, laundry and hopefully help from the CAB depending on their schedule. Extracting my head from my arse.

Why the heck I've been offering to spend time with people here there and everywhere I do not know. Poor time management perhaps, or wishful thinking! I'm doing as much laundry as I used to do when I had a flipping toddler FFS, more if you include all the trips to the laundrette for hot drying.

DLA: Disability Living Allowance. A key part of my benefits that not only give me an income but also increase other aspects of my benefits.
CAB: Citizen's Advice Bureau.
