So ... ADT didn't show up this morning. I gave them a little extra time in case the service truck was running late, but by 2pm I'd already given them more than enough extra. Today my bank notified me of a new service called “e-Deposit.” You endorse a check, mark it “for deposit only,” scan it into your computer, and upload it to their Web site. Bam, deposit done, no bank required.

You know what's great? Unconditional acceptance. It's something I don't have much experience with.

The good news: This morning, I finished one of the two major projects that's had me slammed lately. The bad news: I am probably too exhausted to celebrate the holiday properly.

My divorce is final today!

I went into my meeting this morning reasonably well-prepared (although more sleep would've been nice). The bosses had lots of questions and a few suggestions. Today turned out better than I expected. This is the first Thanksgiving I've spent entirely on my own, and I expected loneliness to drag me down a little. Tonight I got a great parking space, right across the street from DishDash. That sort of thing happens to me a lot. Is this coincidence or karma? Luck or divine favor? A real pattern or just my monkey brain correlating random data?
