I went into my meeting this morning reasonably well-prepared (although more sleep would've been nice). The bosses had lots of questions and a few suggestions. It looks like I won't do the big demo after all, but I'll still do one or two smaller presentations for more technical audiences (which is for the best, in my opinion).
The really good news: My boss said that even this rough, uncalibrated version of the tool already shows the potential to pay for itself. More to the point, he said that it can save enough labor to cover my salary. That's good to hear in the current environment.
The even better news: After the meeting, I tweaked a couple of things and doubled the initial results. It isn't often that I get to work on a project with returns like this. Woot!
Have a great weekend, everybody.
