The call came at 4pm on Sunday.

We had been planning to go to Beer Bust at the Eagle and Lone Star, but when I got the call that a client's contractions were 5 minutes apart and that she was dilated to 4cm, I knew drinking the afternoon away with friends and acquaintances was out of the question.
