I just got the phone call...one of the women who I'm apprenticing for is in early labor.
I could see a homebirth tonight!!!
I'm so excited!!!!! (in case you couldn't tell by all the exclamation points).
It could be a long night though...she's been having contractions for the last two days, and at this point they're 5 minutes apart. But she's dilated 4 cm (10cm is fully dilated), and I got the headsup call to be ready to roll within the next hour or two.
