Well, I went swimming today for the first time in YEARS! I'm totally exhausted and yet I feel so alive. Everything is starting to look so positive nad hopeful. I really need to go swimming every week now. I was so pathetic compared to how I used to be. I got cramp in both legs and I couldn't do a full length underwater.
I've hopefully sorted out a nice house for next month, starting on the 1st of April. I'll be living a little way out of town towards the motorway, but there is a bus service into town and let's be honest here, I'm not really getting much benefit from being this close to town. Fighting for parking, living in a small, pokey house.
I'll be sharing the new house with four other 'professionals' in their early to mid twenties. It's a nice, large detached property with a big lounge, dining area, nice kitchen and I'll have a double room. There is wireless internet and all the bills are included, so there's no hassle of divvying up bills and such. It's going to be £320 a month, which is about £100 less than what I spend at the moment, or have spend in the last eight months or so.
Hopefully this house will work out and I'll stay there until I either find a new job somewhere else, or I decided that my current job is right for the long term and I buy a house.
I went to Sakura this evening and bought a tray of sushi. I'm getting to know the staff there slowly. The manageress sneaked some miso soup and some salad into the bag before she handed it to me, which was sweet. I also asked for an empty box, so I could split the sushi and take some with me to work tomorrow. I really like this restaurant and they are so friendly!
I've started weighing myself too, just out of curiosity. I'm up to 10 stone 11 pounds now. Not sure how many more pounds I need to gain to get to 11 stone. I think the ideal weight for my height is twelve stone, so I still have some eating and working out to do. However, if I go swimming and eat sushi I should be quite healthy and happy!
Bring it on world, I'm almost ready for ya!
(What a difference a day makes.)
