Priorities
My planning failed me today. I ended up missing out on a proper lunch because I had promised to deliver a new build of my software to a colleague in Edinburgh (ended up delivering a slightly shabby version, not so well tested). Reviewed another colleague's code ready for our meeting tomorrow morning, but that meant I had no time to prepare an important presentation for the Principle Software Engineers tomorrow morning, so I stayed late. Stayed so late that I only just made it back to Cheltenham in time to grab my stuff for sailing lessons. Was late for the lesson, which was a mock exam. Made some elementary mistakes in the mock exam. :-(
Bought a pie from Tesco on the way to Sparky and O'Grief's place. Had a cup of tea and witnessed the signing of the land registry document. They kindly offered to cook my pie. Should have cooked my pie there and then.
Went home, finally realised how stupid I had been to buy a pie that required heating the oven and waiting 25 minutes!
Still waiting for that damn pie. Starving. Tired. Annoyed.
