I went out and was quite productive this afternoon. (Disclaimer: this is what I always say, but it's total crap. I'm never productive on weekends.)

I came home last night to notices posted on all doors in and out of my apartment building warning residents to keep their windows closed as we're supposed to get two inches of rain today. toddiangirl sent me a box (a big box!) of books (and dvds!) I have books now! I have the complete first season of Buffy! I have the Replacements (no really, ask me about my great and enduring love of sports movies, go ahead, I dare you). You'll excuse me now as I have to go curl up in bed and read. \o/\o/\o/\o/

I watched The History Boys yesterday. Why I felt I had to wait for it to come out on dvd I don't know, but it was definitely just as good as I thought it would be. Fantastic even. It's like a new (slightly funnier) version of Dead Poets Society.
