Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
An animated movie of the first story arc from Superman/Batman is being made and judging from the trailer, it may be the most loyal adaption of a comic yet. They even captured Ed McGuinness's art style. (Fitting, since his critics often called him "cartoony.")
It looks good. Very good. -
A Guy and his G'nort
The newest episode of Brave and the Bold is on Youtube and features two of my favorite Green Lanterns: Guy and G'nort. I really like they have handled the Green Lantern Corps Like many of the B&tB adaptions, it captures the sense of wonder and fun that the comics have (or had). Best of all it pays homage to my favorite comic fight of all time. -
DC Universe vs Mortal Kombat
partywhipple linked to the full trailer for the MK vs DCU video game. Wow. Everything I had seen before made me start thinking that the game might not suck. Now I think it will be pretty damned good. The Batman/Penguin debate
The Adam West Batman TV series did a pretty good spoof of the McCain/Obama debate. Penguin's imitation of McCain is eerie...and 40 years ahead of its time.
