Boyko had woken up bright and early as usual. Never one was he to waste any part of the day, especially when there could be danger at any turn in which he could prevent.
Stealthing through the halls, he was leaping and bounding at every turn, very espionnage-like. If he did say so, himself, he was quite the prowling cat. He was darting behind tapestries, and beside suits of armour. One could never be too careful, of course.

Elyse was always up bright and early - or maybe not, but since the attack her paranoia was increasing, and would wake up to the sound of her own screams (whether she was imagining them or not was beside the point).
When she saw Boyko bouncing, like, everywhere, she thought it was probably a good idea. And why not join him? Even though she may have never stealthed before, she was good at everything, so she did a lovely spin kick thing right into Boyko's crotch!
Re: Tuesday, December 6th Early MorningblackguardboykoMay 1 2006, 04:54:00 UTC
Boyko had been so preoccupied by his stealth running that he had not noticed Elyse joining him--or kicking him in the gonads, as it were.
Keeling over, he tried to maintain his charm and honour, but much to his dismay, he found he was incapable of doing so. This failure resulted in a strangled cry as he fell to the ground, rolling around in agony.
Re: Tuesday, December 6th Early MorningelyseisoldeMay 1 2006, 04:56:06 UTC
Actually, it was probably a good thing Boyko was unable to keep his charm, because if he had Elyse would have continued kicking and flailing around in attempted stealth. However, as it was, she facepalmed and jumped beside him in fret.
"I'M SO SORRY!" She exclaimed, waving her arms around. "I didn't mean to, your...you know, thingy, was just all THERE and I ran into it! I'm so sorry! Do you need an ice pack? The hospital wing? Anything?!"
Tuesday Dec 6 - After Breakfast - Outside Puff CRdarianaclawMay 1 2006, 05:27:45 UTC
Dari slid along the wall into a sitting position on the floor across from what she knew was the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room, the morning Daily Prophet held loosely in her hand. Everything seemed to be happening at once and she didn't quite know how to process it all. The attack, Kiri, and now her mother being arrested. It was one thing to know your parents were Death Eaters, but quite another to see one sent to Azkaban for it. Was it even okay to be upset? She felt like it somehow made her a bad person for not being glad of it.

Brooke walked out of the common room still crying and saw Dari. She quickly turned away and wiped her tears. She didn't want to be seen crying by anyone. She didn't want to talk about her issues or at least just yet. She turned all puffy eyed, but whatever, to Dari. She saw her crying and remembered it mentioned her mom being arrested in the prophet...She gave her a hug. "Wanna talk?" She gave her a comforting look and waited her answer.

"What?" she acted all surprised, and then acknowleged her red puffy eyes, "oh yeah.. Well I don't really have much of a reason to cry compared to half of the school. And, I wouldn't want to burden you with my problems when you obviously have things going on yourself." She sat down next to her, "ya know, I'm here if you ever need to talk.." She gave her a reassuring look and touched her shoulder as if to reiterate the fact.

Theophania was still in quite a bit of shock and disbelief. She wasn't prepared to start going to classes, she wasn't prepared for life to start again.
But life was moving on, and she had things she had to do, so she made her way out of the common room, anyway. She probably didn't look very nice, eyes red and puffy from crying and not much caring if her robes were in a slight disarray as she dressed.
She passed by what appeared to be an empty classroom and slipped inside, not noticing the other girl in there as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to convince herself that being out and around was the right idea.

Tamara looked up when she heard someone enter the classroom. Theophania... She sneered at the younger girl. Since when could filth like her coexist in the same room as a Pureblood?
"You look terrible, even for you. Sister dying isn't an excuse to let yourself look like that, you know." Tamara spoke in a snooty voice to the girl. Honestly, why couldn't it have been her as well who had died?

Phania's eyes snapped open when she heard someone talking. She would have apologized for not noticing the other girl, but that was cut off by the nasty thing she was saying.
She winced a little. How could someone be so... rude? "I just... didn't..." yeah there was nothing to really say to that. She started inching back towards the door, thinking this was the wrong classroom to have stepped into.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, afternoon, in front of the Fat Ladyromeo_remyMay 1 2006, 20:47:35 UTC
Camilla didn't have to wait for very long; the Fat Lady was shoved open hard and Remy stormed out, teeth grinding together, fists clenched hard in his pocket. He was desperate for a cigarette, still riled up about the false testimony against his old best friend.
He barely noticed the quiet, black-clad girl standing beside the painting, and barely gave her a second glance when he did register that there was somebody there. He didn't even recognise that it was Camilla; he was blinded to everything but his own horrible fury.

Malcolm really had no idea what to do with himself, so he decided he would spend the morning walking throughout the hallways very, very slowly. Every so often he would think about going back to the common room, or the library, but decided that concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other was a lot better for taking up space in one's brain than sitting down in a library or common room.
So far he thought that he was doing a pretty good job of not thinking about anything. He'd overcome his urge to read the Prophet that morning by reorganising all of his books by title, and then by size, and then by colour. Then, he'd decided to aimlessly wander the hallways. It was going to be a long day.

It seemed that whenever Malcolm tried to have a relatively normal day, Lilah suddenly appeared out of nowhere to torment him. It also seemed that today would be no different. Why couldn't she just leave him alone, for once? He was obviously upset...
Malcolm decided that he wasn't ready to speak just yet, so he simply shrugged instead.

She draped an arm around her brother's shoulder and flicked at his ear. "Kiriaki was a friend of yours, wasn't she? Oh wait, she was dancing with you. Wow Malcolm, you sure know how to pick 'em. You'll have to advertise yourself as an actual ladykiller now. Since... you know... going on a date with you ends up in DEATH for a girl." Lilah had a satisfied smirk on her face and walked in step with Malcolm.

"I could ask you the same thing," she said, noting the girl's puffy eyes.

She sat down in an empty classroom and opened her book. Perhaps some reading would get her mind off of things.

As she walked up to him, she smiled. "Hey Mal, how are you holding up?"
