Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.getaway_machineMay 1 2006, 19:39:25 UTC
Theophania was still in quite a bit of shock and disbelief. She wasn't prepared to start going to classes, she wasn't prepared for life to start again.
But life was moving on, and she had things she had to do, so she made her way out of the common room, anyway. She probably didn't look very nice, eyes red and puffy from crying and not much caring if her robes were in a slight disarray as she dressed.
She passed by what appeared to be an empty classroom and slipped inside, not noticing the other girl in there as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to convince herself that being out and around was the right idea.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.raven_annabelleMay 1 2006, 19:42:42 UTC
Tamara looked up when she heard someone enter the classroom. Theophania... She sneered at the younger girl. Since when could filth like her coexist in the same room as a Pureblood?
"You look terrible, even for you. Sister dying isn't an excuse to let yourself look like that, you know." Tamara spoke in a snooty voice to the girl. Honestly, why couldn't it have been her as well who had died?
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.getaway_machineMay 1 2006, 19:47:44 UTC
Phania's eyes snapped open when she heard someone talking. She would have apologized for not noticing the other girl, but that was cut off by the nasty thing she was saying.
She winced a little. How could someone be so... rude? "I just... didn't..." yeah there was nothing to really say to that. She started inching back towards the door, thinking this was the wrong classroom to have stepped into.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.raven_annabelleMay 1 2006, 19:52:28 UTC
Right, now she was inching away? Stupid little girl. Tamara stood up and walked towards her. "You don't belong here, your sister didn't belong here and your brother doesn't belong here. As far as I'm concerned the lot of you should be killed. Don't worry though, I'm sure that whoever did it isn't done with your family. Hopefully next time it will be you. Can't say that I would be disappointed." Her tone was menacing and cruel. It had been a stressful weekend for her, and poor Phania was the target of Tamara's anger.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.getaway_machineMay 1 2006, 20:02:23 UTC
Phania was planning on just slipping out the door and hopefully forgetting about the older girl, but then... but then...
Her fist clenched up when she said that she and her family didn't belong at Hogwarts, because that was so stupid. But then she said that they should be killed? Did she think that it was okay that Kiriaki was... that Kiriaki was...
Phania's hand came up and slapped Tamara hard across the cheek. "You don't... you can't say that about my family!"
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.raven_annabelleMay 1 2006, 20:18:28 UTC
Tamara stepped back, hand on her cheek from where that girl had hit her. "I can say whatever I want, especially to someone as filthy and pathetic as you." Had she not been someone with proper manners, she would have hit or hexed Phania. Luckily for her, Tamara didn't do such barbaric things.
"If you think that what I just said is bad, you're lucky that you don't know what everyone else is saying. The important people in this school are glad that Kiriaki's gone."
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.getaway_machineMay 1 2006, 20:21:54 UTC
Phania was upset. She missed her sister, she was angry about what had happened, she was sad at how broken Nico was, she was a whole mess of emotions, and more than anything she just wanted Kiri back to hug and bother and spend time with.
And this nasty girl had just said that people were glad she was gone. Phania was not a violent person, or a mean person, but her sister was dead and this girl...
With a cry, she launched herself at Tamara, hoping to... she didn't know what, hurt her, or make her take it back and not say such things, or something because that just wasn't okay. It just wasn't.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.eugene_woodsMay 1 2006, 20:33:23 UTC
Eugene was on a mission. This mission was to find someone to do his schoolwork for him so that he could concentrate on more important things, such as figuring out a way to get all of the second years to do his bidding. He wasn't making very much progress with that one.
He passed empty classroom after empty classroom, and was about to walk right past another one when, out of the corner of his eye, some girl jumped onto Tamara Collins. Whoa, a fight?! Well! This was exciting! He poked his head into the classroom and shook his head. "I didn't think you liked physical fighting, Collins!" he said, laughing.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.raven_annabelleMay 1 2006, 20:41:51 UTC
What- why was this psychotic girl attacking her? And, was that EUGENE? Tamara tried to push the younger girl off of her and stand up, but Phania was.. well insane.
"I don't! It's barbaric and only filth like this thing engages in such activities." It was getting hard to talk, as Phania wasn't letting go of her. Finally, Tamara curled her legs up and kicked at Phania as hard as she could.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.getaway_machineMay 1 2006, 20:49:05 UTC
Phania fell back onto her butt when Tamara kicked her, with a small oof. She was crying again now, though she didn't even notice, really.
There was someone else in the room now, too, and Phania was more upset than ever. She stood and turned, fleeing the room before the nasty girl could say anything else...
Of course she couldn't even make an attempt to go to class now so she ran for the (relative) safety of her own Common Room.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.eugene_woodsMay 1 2006, 20:54:33 UTC
Eugene allowed the girl to pass and leaned against the wall, still laughing at Tamara. This was almost better than finding someone to do his schoolwork for him!
"You probably deserved it!" he said, pointing off in the direction that the other girl had run off in. "I'm sure that I would have attacked you if I were her, as well."
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.raven_annabelleMay 1 2006, 21:01:55 UTC
Tamara stood up and brushed herself off. "You think I deserved it? I think you deserve to be hit in the head, but you don't see me doing that." Once she was satisfied that her clothes were smooth enough, she picked up her book. "Of course, I wouldn't do that to you. Don't worry though, I'm sure someone will beat you up soon enough. Then we'll see who's laughing."
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.aodhan_kinsellaMay 1 2006, 22:53:46 UTC
"Laughing?" Aodhan asked from the doorway, he had just happened to pass by in time to see Tamara be attacked by a little first year, "I think everyone but you is laughing, that's how I see it anyway," he smirked. He ignored Eugene's presence just out of principle, not like he really wanted to talk to Tamara either, but that spectacle just couldn't pass by without his commentary.
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.eugene_woodsMay 1 2006, 23:11:11 UTC
Eugene frowned. "But who would want to beat me up?" he asked, genuinely confused. The only person he could think of that would want to beat him up was Aodhan, but the thought of getting beat up by Aodhan was really, really laughable. Besides, Eugene had always assumed that he would just talk his way out of any beatings that were likely to come his way.
And then look who should appear but Aodhan himself! "He's right, you know," Eugene said, hating to agree with Aodhan. Ah, well...small price to pay for some amusement!
Re: Tuesday December 6th, morning.raven_annabelleMay 1 2006, 23:17:42 UTC
Tamara glared at both of the boys. What perfect timing they seemed to have. "I really wish you two would just kiss already, since you're obviously in love with each other." Okay, that made little to no sense, but she had to say something. They were LAUGHING at her!
She sat down in an empty classroom and opened her book. Perhaps some reading would get her mind off of things.
