Hat help?
So I am currently making a simple ribbed cap for my 6-year old cousin, and I'm wondering... how long do I need to knit the body of the hat before I start the decrease? I'm knitting in the round on two circular needles, and I foolishly started without thinking about how long it should be. I've knitted about 3-4 inches now. I'm afraid I'm going to make it too long! Help?
