Izzy's lovely childminder, who she settled so well with and with whose kids she has really bonded with, has just announced that she won't be able to have her anymore. Apparently Izzy is too heavy, and so picking her up repeatedly is knackering Rosa's back. I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am - Izzy is SO happy there, and now we're going to have to find someone else who we're happy to leave her with three days a week. And then there'll be all the upheaval involved. If Izzy is away from Rosa's for a couple of days she's already asking about her - I'm sure she'll forget with time as she's only little, but I'm trying to make her feel more secure as she gets older, not start off with taking away some of the people she cares about the most. I just want to do the best for her, and was so happy that she was settled with the woman who is meant to be the best childminder in the area, and now we're going to have to move her. Makes me want to cry.
