- ban people who serve stew with a pastry lid calling it "pie";
- ban puff pastry altogether;
- ban tapioca from school dinners (it may be years ago, but I still remember);
- institute a rule that all employers must offer every employee a paid day off on his/her birthday;
- bring in a compulsory re-test for all drivers every ten years;
- bring in a requirement that all drivers must have had at least an hour's skid pan training before getting a full licence;
- ban "Jump Around" by House of Pain from being played within my earshot;
- increase the number of points on the driving licence to 15, but
- start putting points on the driving licence for accidents: 2 points if it was your fault, 1 point if it was knock for knock;
- for speeding offences, make it a general rule that every 5mph over the limit = 1 point;
- institute a full review of all speed limits to ensure that each one was appropriate rather than arbitrary (it might surprise you to know that I'd lower some);
- allow the MSA to licence closed road raliies;
- reverse the smoking ban, but bring in a rule that all smoking areas must be properly ventilated;
