I am behind on....everything!
WHY THE HELL IS THE SCHOOL BELL GOING OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SUMMER BREAK? I AM UNIMPRESSED.
*cough* Moving on! My family and I watched Drillbit Taylor a few nights ago. It was as stupid as I'd expected, but actually pretty funny. I guess that's what happens when Seth Rogen is involved in something. Seriously, the only guy who does better stupid movies is Kevin Smith. (And how much do I want to see Zack and Miri Make a Porno?) But yes, it wasn't too bad.
Those pictures are coming. The camera cable seems to have disappeared. Also, some of the pictures (Sam, Iz) are somewhat harder to acquire. Have another meme in the meantime, since unlurkster just HAD to tag me.
1. I hate cooked carrots.
2. I have a bug bite on my baby toe.
3. Recently I've found that I can't handle huge amounts of milk, so I've been doing the whole soy thing. (Which makes people think that I'm on a diet or something, which is just weird.)
4. I am a wimp. This goes for movies (trailers have freaked me out, no joke) to things in RL, like heights. I do not climb up ladders. I do not go fast down hills on my bike. I am a huge wimp.
5. My family once did this road trip along the Great Ocean Road (basically all this really beautiful scenery along the south-east coast of Australia) and we had the chance to eat all sorts of great seafood along the way. I had calamari at every place we went to. Literally every place. I am boring, and a creature of habit. Which brings me to my next point...
6. ...I hate change. Like, a lot.
7. I collect stamps. Yeah, that's right. I am just that cool. Admittedly I have not been keeping particularly good care of my collection, but nonetheless.
8. I'm feeling stupidly sentimental and sad at the moment, and I have no idea why.
9. I have two pet mice, Persephone and Wendy.
10. I'm actually pretty superstitious, but it's with things like ladybugs being good luck and not walking under ladders. Occasionally throwing spilt salt over my shoulder, that sort of thing.
11. I hate the beach.
12. Um...I have a colour-coded post-it note system? I really like organization, what can I say?
13. I have a (now not-so-) secret love of really cheesy teen fiction. Seriously cheesy. For example, I have a book called Mistletoe, which is four stories by prominent teen authors - like the author of Gossip Girl - all about finding love at Christmas-time. Seriously: cheesy!
14. I have two rubber spiders stuck on my wall, despite the fact that I don't like spiders. There's a story there, but I won't go into it.
15. Earlier this year, I won an iMac that I still haven't sold, so it just sits on the floor of my room.
16. For Christmas I received a page-a-day calendar with quotes of famous insults, and they kind of crack me up.
17. (I feel like this one should be something really impressive...) I am constantly on the hunt to find the perfect cheesecake.
Also, I saw Australia yesterday. It was...long. Really, really long. And I'm not totally sure how I feel about Nicole Kidman. Has anyone else seen it?
I am doing a lot of movie-watching at the moment. Tomorrow I am having a Star Wars marathon with the boyfriend, because I have always wanted to have one, but no one else has ever been willing to watch them all with me. So I'm pretty excited, especially since he has a pretty kickass set-up.
Oh, and one last thing, before I forget. I just wanted to say thanks, Julie, for that mix of happy music. I've been listening to it every morning, and it keeps putting me in a good mood.
