Two weeks ago I was fired from Amazon because of my Multiple Sclerosis. My heat intolerance was interfering with my ability to do my job so they fired me, despite being well aware of my disability right from the start. Finally had another meeting with Vocation Rehab. This one was a little more productive; I finally got some answers a little more concrete than the ones I'd been getting. They gave me back my evaluations as well as the administrator's transcript of the interview. That's an interesting read. I always find it odd to read what other people really think ( Read more... )

I'm sure that the majority of us grew up watching American movies, movies in which the hero is always the best looking guy who gets the best looking girl. I think something finally broke my way...instead of simply breaking. Vocational Rehabilitation has apparently agreed to help. Earlier this week I had to meet with a woman who administered all kinds of assessments to determine where I can work. Apparently, just about anywhere.
