I first saw Vienna Teng four years ago when she opened for Marillion when they were playing as a trio. Since then, I have failed to see her top bill a show because of sell outs, or conflicts. So, last night I finally made it to one. I eventually gave my spare ticket to the Big German, since it wasn't sold out.

Looking at the previous guest list, I think it has been 5 years since I made it to Appel Farm but I had to make this year's lineup.

Sunday after leaving Dexcon I zipped down the NJ Turnpike working on my trucker's tan - it was good weather for it. The moment I got home, I left for the train to catch the ferry to go to Camden. Once there I walked into the WXPN XPonential - what used to be their "singer/songwriter" weekend.

I'm officially old.

Last night when the boys came out for their second encore I looked at my watch and realized I could catch a train in 5 minutes or 65 minutes. I've got a con this weekend, a late movie Thursday and a dozen things to do (like pack) before I leave tomorrow morning.

So, I walked out of the second encore to go home to bed.
