serista and I went to see Suzanne Vega at Sellersville Theater. It was a good show as always. She had a new back up guy with her. He was doing fun things with looping petals and whatnot. However, we both agreed that he was to old to be wearing pants so tight that they showed an outline

Back in 1985 I started working a shift at WSUC, SUNY Cortland's radio station. This allowed me to play music by this brand new artist. Since we were alternative, we played "Neighborhood Girl" more than her hit "Marlene on the wall." I've lost track of how many times I got to see her at venues over the years ( Read more... )

Sunday after leaving Dexcon I zipped down the NJ Turnpike working on my trucker's tan - it was good weather for it. The moment I got home, I left for the train to catch the ferry to go to Camden. Once there I walked into the WXPN XPonential - what used to be their "singer/songwriter" weekend.
