I don't even know what to say. I am grinning and squeeing and... oh, this is lovely and happy... I love all Kobe travelogue, and the details of their trips by train. I love the crappy hotel room and having to share a bed and not dating and, then, of course, the maybe dating. Comment is all over the place. I love that Jin had decided it was totally plausible that Kame kissed him out of a true and noble wish to make Jin feel better, because Kame has been really selfless through this series... but not about that kiss. I love the morning after, where they're both still trying to figure things out, as well as just doing things and thinking after.

I bet Jin's mom already does know. ^.^

For someone who doesn't know what to say, you're not doing too badly! ;-)

This is pretty much the one area in which I can actually give detail so I'm making the most of it. (Not the dating thing, obviously.) I have been looking for an excuse for Kame to explain to Jin that the kiss was a totally selfish thing on his part and finally got my chance to work it in, yay! Of course this being Akame, there's no way it's going to be easy for them, so there has to be awkwardness and uncertainty afterwards.

Jin's mom is awesome. ^_^

I love your Kame and JIn a lot... their relationships, friendship, understanding and their characterization. They are so sweet, so lovely and just warm and close to me) I like it a lot ( ... )

I'd like a Kame drama role like that too! I'm dying to see him play a villain, or at least someone morally ambiguous! (And I like police shows a lot, so I'd like this even more.)

It's confusing for me too, trying to figure out how Jin would respond to everything, what his thoughts might be on certain subjects. It's an interesting experience writing this fic! It's as much a learning experience for me as for them, I guess, and the challenge is not to mess up their characterisation (too much).

I wanted to huggle Kame a lot, the poor turtle. The whole "wanting someone he can never have" dilemma was just ugh. :'( And Jin. Oh, how I love your Jin. Boy, am I glad things finally went forward, if not (as of yet) completely worked out, between them. Their relationship taking Jin's pace, because no one can keep up with Kame's... that was full of win (as is the rest of this fic, really). *flails some more*

That last line just about killed me of the 'awwww' *melts*

Relief for you and them both, I guess! ;-)

Poor Kame's been dealing with it for so long; the idea that he can actually have Jin now hasn't quite sunk in yet. I mean, it's all kind of up in the air, but there's a basis for it now and I like happy endings anyway so it's not like I'm going to break them up after going to all the trouble of getting them together.

That last line is about as corny as it gets, but I was finishing this fic while Jin was posting his cute drunken tweets and I just couldn't stop laughing - so it's all his fault. Glad you enjoyed the results! ^_^

Gorgeous, once again ♥ ;;_______; You've been to Kobe? Because you took the pictures. It was a really nice addition, and I think the personal knowledge about things made it seem realistic which was great.

Kame in a complex, antagonist role ♥ *______* I wish he'd get a darker role some day. He could nail it. I've got to tear up at his overworking again, though *sigh* Good thing Jin's took him for a trip... He needed that.

The bed scene... Ahhh I felt so sorry for Kame :< Sleeping next to Jin and feeling all... yeah. Must've been really awkward. But things got better for him, so it's all good.

I feel sorry for Nakamaru all the time but I don't try to stick my tongue in his mouth.Sdfghjkl this seriously made me crack up. I don't even know whom I should pity if anyone XD Great line, a little relief from the seriousness ( ... )

Thank you! Yep, I went to Kobe in February for Jin's concerts - which is where I met my wonderful enablers, pithetaphish and sweetpaopuwind. They asked for Akame to go to Kobe in the fic, because it's where we all met for the first time, so I figured I might as well take advantage of some of my experiences and photos. (Thankfully, the shower curtain was in Tori's room, not mine! My Japanese isn't good enough to complain about it to the staff.)

I'd love Kame to have a role like that too. I mean, I love watching him in dramas no matter what, but I really want him to tackle something meaty, something where he gets to show his range. (And I'm a sucker for cop shows.)

That bed scene was so awkward to write, but I'm relieved it came out okay!

There's a lot of Nakame around lately, hence that line. I love them as friends but my brain just breaks thinking about Nakamaru being more than just friends with anyone.

Yeah, on the one hand it's Kame, so Jin's comfortable with him, but on the other hand this is a new dimension to their relationship and it's with a guy, ( ... )

I'm amused to see that Meisa has now been cast as a tough girl cop in a new drama (sadly, not with Kame), so I want to see her turn out like Tamai now or I will be disappointed! I had a lot of fun writing the drama stuff, even if it is a little weird working it in like that, and it did give me some lovely mental images. ^_^ (I like to think Kage would be a little less dorky than Dark Mousy, but it sure would be cute ( ... )

I just hope it means we stand a chance of getting Meisa in black leather. She's so pretty. *___* I think Kage's probably edgier than Dark, yeah, even if he's only a "shadow" and not full dark. More into the mind games, too. I think by the end he doesn't even care what he steals, because it's just an opportunity for him to leave teasing clues for Nishikawa ( ... )
