[Christine had been effectively holed up in the Phantom's room for almost a week. She had missed
Raoul's outburst the day of her arrival after he found her missing and had not left the room for any extended period of time without the accompanying presence of her Master. She had gotten a rough guided tour of the ship and explanations that the other

[...Pause. There is something amiss, here.]
What happened to your original keycard?

Yes, that is what I meant. [A brief pause.]
Thank you .. I have not had much practice and I was concerned I would use this device incorrectly.
[Another pause at the latter question when Christine grimaces to herself. She leans in and speaks again, her tone heavy with guilt and embarrassment.]
I .. I left my own communicator and keycard in my room upon arrival .. I .. I did not realize their level of importance. I was a bit out of sorts .. [Way to understate, Christine!] I left my room and it locked behind me and I got rather turned around ..
[A soft sigh and Christine leans back against Erik's door.]I believe I know where it is, but I clearly ( ... )

It is fairly easy to use - if you need instruction, I am certain myself or any other would have little issue with assisting you.
[As she listens to the explanation, Zee is reminded once again of why droids, and battle droids like herself, were created. Human were virtually helpless sometimes.]
I would offer my assistance in this matter as well, but if you have locked your items in your room then your best chance at retrieving them would be crew. [Another pause.]
You berate yourself far too much. [Zee is blunt.]

I appreciate your offer, although I think I have the basic functions down at the very least. Although, if I manage to get my own communicator back, I might happily take any such assistance I can get. I have only learned the basics of how to speak and send words messages .. ahh .. texts? I believe there is a function that allows for others to see me as well, but I haven't quite figured that out.
[In truth, Christine really doesn't know how much time she'll be able to practice such as this is Erik's comm and he's likely to miss it soon enough. Except that it gets a bit lonesome now and again, and it's only been ( ... )

[Hi, remember him? Frantic boyfriend? Been looking for you for a week and somehow kept missing you?]
Where are you?

Raoul?
[She closes her eyes and begins again.]
I'm safe, Raoul.. My Angel .. he found me and has been keeping me safe. He told me about this place..
[Another pause of silence and the next words that follow are in French and there is no hiding how emotionally laden.]
You left me .. I was so frightened and you left me..

I know...
[Before the fear of Christine sets in again, he focuses on his stronger hate for the phantom.]
You're not safe. Tell me where you are and I will find you.

In truth, she missed him, even if they had only been apart for a small time. She didn't know yet that they were from different slips of time or that she had been here (on the Elegante) once before, at least.
She steals herself and swallows, shaking her head.]
You don't understand, Raoul .. Monsieur Buguet .. My Angel, the Phantom .. he was not responsible. He did not kill him .. I do not believe everything is as it appears to be.
[She is grappling with either side, uncertain she can ever get him to believe it was all a misunderstanding. Raoul did not know the Phantom the way Christine did (even if he was well on his way, durrhurr).]
