• I kinda... Resubmerged myself in Stuff again.

    lexgarrett and I have started watching My Next Life As A Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom, and so far I am dying because queer-coded magical princesses! ... I have given up working out whether I'm being queerbaited or not, I'm just enjoying that the protagonist accidentally tripping all of the romance flags with e v e r y o n e.
  
  
  • (I realised yesterday that Lex brings me two kind of shows: murder-heavy mysteries, and magical princess stories. HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S ABOUT.)

    sithe bought the next few series of Digimon on DVD, and I was amazed by how much of series two I'd forgotten. To be fair, there's a lot that seems to get dropped in a hurry? Like isn't there an entire subplot about CosmicHorrormon that just fizzles out? ... Also I am still trash for Kari and Yolei, whoops. And we've started watching Digimon Tamers, which is the series that I've only seen about three episodes of! Rika and Renamon are the coolest, but the comic relief characters can jump in a bin together.

  • I finally got around to finishing up Fate/Apocrypha, which means that I got back in my feelings about Necrodad and this is TERRIBLE.
  
  
  • I need to catch up on The Untamed! I've officially hit the point where the plot of the tv series is so different to the book that I can't match them together, and that's fine! They're doing different things and I am very fond of both of them.


• I picked up more of my ADHD meds yesterday, which means that I have no excuse for spending the last two days in a hyperfocus zone of Fixing My Dreamwidth Tags. Like... I went through my fic tag, stripped out all of the mistagged drafts and noodly bits, and found a bunch of things that I could throw onto AO3! And put a bunch of things in my big Scrivener doc of fic to look at next time I'm in the mood to triage my drafts again. And I grouped all of my AO3 fic by fandom, that was the other bit of digital organising I did!


• I'm modifying my diary again, in that I've got a notebook for my day-to-day stuff now! (
  sithe got a notebook binding kit for christmas and it's a bit too small for him to use.) I'm still figuring out how I want to use it, but so far it's less tizzy-making than keeping my filofax up to date! Plus it's a lot easier to refer to my *counts* fifteen to-do lists if I can keep them in front of me. Same basic system, just a little more space to use it, I think.


• I've been furloughed from work! In theory, this is fine; the government's going to be paying 80% of my wages and the uni will pay the other 20%, I shouldn't notice any difference. In practice... It should be fine, but we'll see what happens come payday.


• (I keep going "Oh fuck why is there money in my bank account?!" before I remember that I've paid off my phone contract and the loan I took out for my Masters. In my defence, it's INCREDIBLY WEIRD for there to be money in my account!)


• 
  captainraz and I did a stationery dead-drop to exchange stickers for fountain pen inks while complying with social distancing, and I feel like this was the most incredibly us thing we've done in a while.


• I am oscillating between "I want to write, I want to write!" and "... How am sentence form?" with no real middle ground. I assume that it's going to even out at some point, but for now my brain is basically an oversized toddler throwing a tantrum about how much I should be writing a ridiculous bl light novel, and my impulse control is going "'BL light novel with the aesthetic of the flashbacks in Demon Diary' is not actually a coherent idea," and "Maybe this can be a problem for future!Susan, when the number of to-do lists is below ten? Maybe? Please?"


• So yes, I am okay, I'm just trying not to embody those "Person doesn't understand why they're not at peak productivity during global crisis" memes.
