The best thing about Key to Time is that it cannot possibly contain Pyramids of Mars. Win! No matter what happens it will not be some Holmesy Orientalist Tedium with Sarah being shit and Four being dull. Hurrah!
Another best thing is all the Four/Romana I shippery that I had forgot about. How could I have forgot that they rode a white horse into the sunset? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? People go on like it is only Romana II that he was Doing It with, when clearly they have shagged at least by Stones of Blood. They stand very close and bitch at each other sometimes and oh it is so wonderful. I find I wish to write crappy shippy fluff of them being lovely together. But I would never live that down.
I need moar icons of Mary, for she is the best Romana. Possibly I will change my mind about this if I watch through to Lalla, but for now she is the best and that is objective truth. Maybe it is that boys are scared of her. She has beautiful eyebrows. But obvs it is her brain that is moast attractive, and the way she is often so casual about having been kidnapped in every episode. "I are captured? Oh whatevz." That is how she talks. She talks in lolspeak.
Also there is K-9, who is wonderful. I like that he has a wee personality that is a wee bit like R2-D2 but more camp and less bitchy. Also R2-D2 is the true hero of Star Wars, but that is not important right now. K-9 can't do terrain that is... terrain, and his batteries run down after five minutes of doing anything, but that is part of his charm. I hear talk of him hovering and that is very wrong.
I do not know how it could be more better apart from maybe more lols but there are many lols and lols are good.
