biking to work
With a stop at the dentist! 19.0 to the dentist in 1:34 for an average of 12.0. Not bad! I was expecting urban riding at the end, but mostly the lights were green and the cars were absent. On the way from there to work (9.34 in 58 minutes for an average of 9.5) it was very icky with cars all over, construction projects every where I turned that I had to poke by on the sidewalk, etc. And then the hill at the end. So nevermind that performance. (That's why I separated it out -- I knew it would suck.)
Total for the year 2019.7. That's 200 miles a month. More in summer. Less when I'm anemic or on vacation. I'll ride a few more miles in the next 14 days before the surgery, probably even more than 100. Though weather's beginning to be quite iffy sometimes.
