pre-expo Hetalia meet :'D
Turns out, as per usual OTL, our college work deadline has been extended to next Monday..or was it Wednesday? OTL;;; either way...THE TIME TO WRITE THIS JOURNAL ISSSSSS NAO
Journey to the Japanese Arts Festivalllll
We got up and Shacho felt a bit dizzy, so she went back to sleep for a bit while I worked on the finishing touches for our obi. She was better when I woke her for the second time and she preceded to put make-up on me;; (although because I'm so squeamish around the eyes I ended up doing quite a bit of it OTL)
cape_carnival (Shacho) as the white!Mokona in a very poorly lit (but amazing) stair well :'D
And here's me, in the same stair well, as the black!Mokona... looking incredibly strange in make-up (I've never really worn it so I have no idea how *insert words* it looked OTL;;; )
We spent many hours trying to get to the community college (and mainly failing T<>T ) all the train lines we were planning on taking were down so we ended up at Euston trying to figure out what to do (and spilling hot chocolate *stares at Shacho* ^^;; )
Eventually we got to the right train and when we hit Kew Gardens a girl (Joli?) came over and asked us if we knew where we were going :'D Obviously we didn't OTL but some obaa-chan kindly gave us directions so we battled the very short walk there with Jo (who was very sweet >w<~~ and turned out to be a friend of Ben's..six degrees of separation anyone (or 1 in this case;;; )) We lost her when we found... *drumroll*
THE HETALIA GROUP!!!
Gave out a few frogs :'D and stood squashed amongst the cosplayers and passerbys until we moved outside-
-to a sunflower bench :'DDD <3
pandarosi as Rolo/Lithuania (stop hiding behind the flag Liet ;-; ), Gino/Russia-san and Canada who?

It all seemed a bit schizophrenic because we were all calling each other by tons of different names. We had Real names/Usernames/Cosplay names and then w/e character we're going to be in May's name @_@ obviously the last on that list was the most used one :'D
After sitting outside for a bit we headed into the masquerade.
Musically, the masquerade was a total nightmare;;; I think the Naruto group went on stage to "Let me be with you" XDXDXD or something; And the presentator!Lady kept asking the cosplayers loads of questions;; *gulps* but for all of our Hetalia group, scrubbling around next to the stage was quite fun :'D Even if Russia-san couldn't move his legs and Lelouch and Rolo were being France *cracks up* XDXDXDXDXD UK-tan and Estonia left ;----; *twas sad* then, watched the japanese dances...which seemed really out of place on such a shabby stage XD I think I liked the obaa-chan's one the most :DD the kimono fashion show was useful for more ideas for making obi >DD *ends up making 48969560 obi* Then me and Shacho headed back to the halls for another look around (and some takoyaki, oiiiishiiii).
Met up with Joli again..who was with Jo (another of Ben's friends...I think he knows everyone o-o) and dreadlock guy. We rambled to them for awhile until they left and then we were awkwardly back in the corner with the remanants of the Hetalia group, dodging people who wanted to get to the bathroom |D;; Talked to Germany alot but I forgot to get a picture of her T____T *is sad* Many lively Hetalia conversations were had around the table, h-h-hopefully I wasn't too quiet;;; *is so awkward T_T*
After awhile we headed back to Liet's house '<>'
The train ride back was fun! I kept pulling retarded faces at Shacho |D ahaha
and Joli ended up on the train w/ us for awhile! (things came back full circle?)
When I walked into the guestroom at Liet's house...I totally freaked at the sight of the huggge orangutan plushie XDXD;;; it's not really something I expected to see!! lol So here's a picture of Lina/Hijikata/Su-san and it XDXD
and a picture of rosiael/Lelouch/Belarus and Canada ???
And then started the mission for food.
Which was a mission, indeed XDXD
We all crowded round the table, eating almond cookies and doodling on the list of food. I'm not really a pizza-person (blasphemy I know) so I joined El in getting Lasagne, much to the disgust of Russia who expected the lasagne to be made of ice or something |D Then started Denmark's amazing call (where he became Ivan!Denmark) to the pizza place. I hope Canada will post this somewhere ;D I was in total stitches, as were everyone else XDXDXD We waited and eventually came to the conclusion that the pizza place hadn't taken us srsly. So, the far more sensible Canada was forced to phone them again ^^; awww; We relocated to the dining room (is that right?) and Liet had a battle w/ her computer's internet connection/wifi thingy. (the actual..er sort of)Russia-san phoned the pizza place to see where the food was and they said it would be there in 2 minutes XD So the mental image of someone wildly running with pizza was conjured up. It arrived and THE LASAGNE WAS NIIIIIICEEE *high fives El* 1 FOR THE LASAGNE TEAM 0 FOR RUSSIA >D although I had horrible trouble with the cheese *makes a mess* |D
After food, we finally started skit plans.. and I think I've sort of been roped into it |D *wonders what we'll end up doing*
Me,Shacho and Germany (Doiitsssssssuu) left Liet's house at about 10:30 D:
After awhile Germany switched to a different train ;-; and it was just me and Shacho. Since it was so late she ended up staying at mine and leaving in the morning.
The next day was spent watching Catherine play Tombraider: Underworld (WHICH SUCKED SO BAD D: ) and then me, Cat, Wanan and Qwis playing Jenga and Pictionary until stupid o'clock in the morning |D
TL;DR
I didn't get many photos ;-; *mainly because it was a bit too dark for my camera indoors**hopes everyone else got lots of pictures**send me some? plz? <3* and I don't remember saying all that much OTL *fail* but it was super fuuuuuuunnn 8DDDDDDD *hopes there will be another meet soon <3*
