Ughhh, I was supposed to go meet a tutor called Matt Lindsey to show him some of my photography today at 11... but it sorta ended up being one of those days @_@;;
Got up at 8 and decided to try making some sushi.. LOL random I know but I had some weird sushi kit thing that needed to be used up.
It didn't exactly go well OTL the rice wouldn't stick together at all;;; It tasted okay though! ...this is always my problem w/ cooking.. the presentation parts @_@;; *I considered photographing it and uploading it here but |D;**would've been late**not that it matters, in hindsight*
Left the house *twice, first time I forgot batteries for my mp3 and the post-it-note w/ the guys name on it*, rushed into college, 7 minutes early. I gathered a bit of courage and went to ask the woman behind the counter if she knew who he was. (I've only seen him once and didn't know if that was him or not) She re-directed me to another woman who tapped on her keyboard and brought up..next to no results |D So I sneaked up on my tutor to see if he could do any better (using his magical powers of snarkinessss LOL <3) and he ran off to have a look for the guy..eventually delegating the task to the (super friendly) graphics tutor Barbara. She told me to wait till 11.30 and then to come back at 1. So I went to the local library to read some manga |D; (Worst and Cromartie, yankees FTW! I tried to read Madara also but got bored OTL ) Went back to college and talked to Leslie and her friend/colleague for awhile about the frog (I really need to buy some more hosting for the site;; *must put up commission details on my dA or something OTL*) Barbara came back at 1:15, just before I started panicking and told me he'd be around at 1:30. Which was the first piece of accurate info I'd gotten all day (I can see why everyone loves Barbara so much XDXD)!!!
So he showed up. Apparently he'd "gotten caught up in something" OTL I wonder if being unreliable is some kind of english thing?|||||
Told me the course he's running is like 50% art photography and 50% writing. Seemed to like my pictures, found the zombie ones amusing and was generally very positive (LOL I guess I can forgive him for being super late XDXDXDXD jk). I'm a bit dubious about the 50% writing part of the course though.. I'm even less confident with my writing than I am with my photography (or any other kind of art) if that's possible |D Qwis and my mum seem to think it's a good idea though;;
*sighhsss* :'D so that was a total mess of a day. (My icon seems to be angrier than I am about it though LOL! )
I think I need some Maria-sama ga miteru after all that |D; comfort animeeee...
